COMLOGOS Translation Process

Quality & Technology

Quality Isn't a Promise Here — It's a Process

A specialised translation is only as good as the process that safeguards it. At COMLOGOS, six building blocks work together to achieve this: translation memory systems and terminology databases ensure consistent text, controlled AI with human post-editing makes large volumes cost-effective, and certified workflows, IT security and personal project management guarantee reliable delivery of results.

Our processes are certified under ISO 9001, ISO 17100 and ISO 18587, and our information security and data protection measures align with ISO 27001. This page provides an overview of all six building blocks.

Frequently asked questions on quality on technology

Which standards does COMLOGOS work to?
COMLOGOS is certified under ISO 9001, ISO 17100 and ISO 18587, and is aligned with ISO 27001. Every specialised translation adheres to the four-eyes principle and is subject to documented revision.
How does COMLOGOS use AI?
AI is used under control: first, verified terminology and style guidelines are applied, then AI-assisted translation is carried out, and finally revision or post-editing is performed in accordance with ISO 18587. Humans are responsible for every change.
How is my data protected?
Your texts will not be used to train AI models — this is contractually guaranteed. Processing takes place on EU servers aligned with ISO 27001, and a non-disclosure agreement is available.
How does COMLOGOS ensure consistency across many documents?
Project-specific terminology databases and translation memory systems ensure consistent terminology across product generations, variants and language versions.
